Scope

This International Standard establishes a consistent, repeatable means of evaluating characteristics of falling-object protective structures (FOPS) under loading; it sets performance re- quirements for these structures under such loading in a representative test. It applies to mobile or self-propelled specially-designed machines used in forestry as defined in ISO 6814.
