This specification covers the material, dimensional, and constructional requirements for tea trolleys intended for use in hospitals.
NOTE: The attention of users of this specification is drawn to the following requirements that must be specified in tender invitations and in the order or contract:
a) The type of trolley (see 3.4.1)
b) Whether a mild steel or stainless steel trolley is required (see 3.4.2)
c) The depth of the tray, if other than as specified (see 3.7)
d) In the case of mild steel trolleys, the colour of the finish; and in the case of stainless steel trolleys, the type of finish (see 3.10.1)
