- Scope
- This standard specifies data types for identifiers of participants in learning, education, training and other fields. This standard does not cover personal information security and privacy protection related to the use of participant identifiers. This standard also does not cover naming policies, registration, and identification of participant identifiers. Note: Use of participant identifiers may result in inappropriate access to and misuse of personal information. Implementers are responsible for ensuring correct use of participant identifiers.
