Scope

This part of SANS 10299 covers the installation and commissioning of pumping equipment intended for production boreholes. 2 It does not cover equipment for boreholes intended for exploration, dewatering or monitoring purposes. 3 It also does not cover the installation or commissioning of any surface delivery piping, distribution systems or storage facilities. NOTE For the installation and commissioning of major distribution systems, it is recommended that designers consult the appropriate part of SANS 1200.
