This specification covers a concentrated solution of tributyltin oxide and lindane in a hydrocarbon solvent and that, in a diluted form, is intended for use as a timber preservative.
NOTE
a) The standards referred to in the specification are listed in appendix A.
b) A requirement that must be specified by the purchaser is noted in appendix B.
c) The preservative is not intended for use on mine timbers.
d) Guidance on the verification of the quality of tributyltin oxide-lindane timber preservative produced to this specification is given in appendix C.
