Scope

This part of Lhe specification covers reflective foil laminates in Lhe form of rolls, sheets and sections and intended for use as thermal insulation in buildings. NOTE a) Materials covered by this part of the specification are not necessarily suitable, for other applications. b) The standards referred to in this part of the specification are listed in Appendix A. c) Information regarding the verification of the quality of reflective foil laminates produced to this part of the specification, and the sampling plan to be used to assess compliance with this part of the specification of a lot of reflective foil laminates are given in Appendix B. d) General comments on the use of reflective foil laminates as an insulation material in buildings are given in Appendix C.
