This specification covers soft solders (in the form of wire or ribbon) containing one or more cores of non-corrosive flux.

cj Except under the standardization mark scheme, provision of the sample required in terms of 5.1.1 (for assessing compliance with the requirements for resistance of flux residues) requires special agreement between supplier and purchaser.

e) A convenient method of measuring the area of the melted solder is given in Appendix D.
