This specification covers three grades of profiled boards (planed or planed and sanded) manufactured from hardwood or softwood timber and intended for use in ceilings or panelling.
NOTE
a) The titles of standards referred to by number in the specification are given in Appendix A.
b) Requirements that must or may be specified by the purchaser and those that may be agreed upon are listed in Appendix B.
c) Recommended standard profiles for ceiling and panelling boards and profile dimensions are given in Appendix C.
d) Except under the standardization mark scheme assessment of compliance with the requirements of 4?10 and certain requirements of 4.8 requires special agreement between supplier and purchaser.
