Scope

This part of the specification applies to uninsulated, hard-drawn aluminium conductors for overhead transmission lines. NOTE a) The standards referred to in the specification are listed in appendix A. b) Requirements that must be specified by the purchaser are listed in appendix B. c) Except under the standardization mark scheme, assessment of compliance with the requirements of 3.1 and 4.1 requires special agreement between supplier and purchaser.
