Scope

This standard specifies the limit conditions for determining the combustion balance of materials in various oxidant gases under the conditions of specific pressure, temperature, flow conditions, combustion propagation direction and other various geometric characteristics in general systems. This standard is applicable to the determination and description of the performance of materials, products or molded parts that react to heat and flame under specified experimental conditions, and cannot be used directly to describe or evaluate the hazards of fire hazards of materials under actual combustion conditions. This method is more suitable for evaluating the combustion performance of materials and components whose dimensions are similar to those required by the test.
