Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and model, technical requirements, testing methods, inspection rules, labels, packaging, transportation and storage of high-speed braiding machines for wire and cable (hereinafter referred to as braiding machines). This standard applies to braiding machines for braiding wire and cable shielding layers or protective layers at high speed, and also applies to braiding protective layers of various non-metallic materials.
