This part of GB/T 18332 specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of lead-acid batteries for electric road vehicles. This part applies to lead-acid batteries (hereinafter referred to as batteries) and battery packs used in electric vehicles, electric tricycles, golf carts, sightseeing cars, etc., which use batteries as the main power source. This section does not apply to batteries and battery packs used for starting, electric power assist, traction and other purposes.
