- This standard specifies the performance characteristics and performance test conditions of the electrodynamic vibration and sound generation system (equipment), and gives a list of additional equipment characteristics that can be provided by the equipment manufacturer (see Appendix A). This information allows the user or equipment specification maker to select the system described while taking into account the actual application of the equipment. This standard applies to linear vibration equipment generating sinusoidal, random and pulse.
