Scope: This standard specifies the allowable value of earth station electromagnetic environment interference and the calculation method of interference level. This standard specifies the test methods for the electromagnetic environment of earth stations. This standard applies to geostationary satellite communication earth stations, geosynchronous meteorological satellite earth stations and coastal earth stations with operating frequency bands ranging from 1 GHz to 40 GHz.
