Scope

In addition to the provisions of GB 13539. 1-2008, the following requirements are added. The fuses used for the protection of semiconductor equipment shall meet all the requirements of GB 13539.1-2008, unless otherwise specified below, they shall also meet the supplementary requirements specified in this part. The supplementary requirements of this standard apply to fuse-links installed in equipment having semiconductor devices, which fuse-links are suitable for use in circuits with a nominal voltage not exceeding 1000 V a.c. or 1 500 V d.c. Where applicable, circuits of higher nominal voltages may also be used. The purpose of this standard is to determine the characteristics of semiconductor fuse-links, so that under the premise of the same size, semiconductor fuse-links can be replaced by other types of fuse-links with the same characteristics. Therefore, this part specifically stipulates: a) The following characteristics of fuse-links: 1) Rated value; 2) Temperature rise during normal operation; 3) Dissipated power; 4) Time-current characteristics; 5) Breaking capacity; 6 ) Cut-off current characteristics and I²t characteristics; 7) Arc voltage limit value. b) Type test to verify the characteristics of the fuse link; c) Marking of the fuse link; d) Technical data to be provided (see Appendix B).
