Scope

This standard specifies the types of quarantine pests and the quarantine and inspection procedures and methods of melons and legumes. This standard is used for melons (Cucumis sativus L., Luffa cylindrica Roem, Momordica charantia L., Benincase hispida var.chieh-que) and beans (Vigna sesquipedalis WF Wight, Phaseolus vulgaris L., Quarantine of origin of peas Pisum sativum L.) vegetables. The quarantine of other melons, legumes and vegetables can refer to this procedure.
