- This standard specifies the material, manufacturing, inspection and acceptance requirements of the urea synthesis tower in the urea plant. This standard applies to urea-grade ultra-low carbon austenitic stainless steel (hereinafter referred to as stainless steel) lining the urea synthesis tower with a design pressure not greater than 21.6Mpa and a design temperature not greater than 190°C.
