- Scope
- This standard specifies the basic methods and technical requirements for periodic inspection and evaluation of compressed natural gas cylinders for automobiles (hereinafter referred to as cylinders). This standard applies to steel cylinders designed and manufactured according to GB 17258, with a nominal working pressure of 16MPa to 20MPa, a nominal volume of 30L to 120L, and a working temperature of -50°C to 60°C. Cylinders with a nominal volume less than 30L or greater than 120L can refer to this standard. This standard does not apply to gas storage cylinders for compressed natural gas filling stations, nor does it apply to composite material cylinders.
