Scope

This standard specifies the general requirements, testing equipment, comparative samples, testing methods and discontinuity evaluation of composite steel plate ultrasonic testing methods. This standard applies to rolled clad steel plates and explosively welded clad steel plates with a base plate thickness of 4 mm or more. Ultrasonic testing of clad steel plates of other special specifications can also refer to this standard.
