Scope

This standard is proposed by the Hebei Provincial Department of Labor. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Hebei Provincial Department of Labor. This standard shall be effective from December 1, 1998. This standard is drafted by Hebei Elevator Monitoring and Inspection Center and Hebei Elevator Comprehensive Service Company. Drafters of this standard: Liu Shuangyuan, Wang Jiansen, Zhang Yanchao, Cui Xuegong, Li Peng. This standard specifies the basic safety requirements for elevator installation, repair and maintenance safety operations, on-site operation requirements, hoisting operation requirements, electrical safety requirements and fire prevention requirements. This standard applies to the installation, repair and maintenance of various elevators. The installation, repair and maintenance of escalators and moving walkways can also be carried out by reference.
