Scope

This standard specifies the loading and deceleration smoke emission limits, determination methods, measurement methods, recording format of experimental results, etc. for three-wheeled vehicles and low-speed trucks equipped with compression ignition engines. This standard applies to in-use three-wheel vehicles and low-speed trucks equipped with compression ignition engines, with a maximum design total mass not greater than 4500kg, and a maximum design speed not greater than 70km/h.
