Scope: This standard specifies the basic requirements for the compilation of random technical documents for metal cutting machine tools, as well as their format and content. This standard is applicable to the compilation of accompanying technical documents (hereinafter referred to as documents) such as instruction manuals, certificates of conformity and packing lists of metal cutting machine tools (hereinafter referred to as machine tools).
