This standard applies to DC bridges used for measuring resistance, and also applies to the built-in auxiliary equipment of the bridge. This standard does not apply to bridge comparators, automatic balancing bridges, and those bridges that obtain part of the indication value by means of a zero meter scale, nor does it apply to external auxiliary equipment used with the bridge.
