Scope

This standard specifies a colorimetric method for the determination of betaine content in beet roots. This standard is applicable to the determination of betaine content in beet roots. The linear range of this standard is 0.1 mg/mL ~ 12.5 mg/mL. The detection limit of this standard method is 0.04%.
