This specification covers a corrosion and heat resistant nickel alloy in the form of bars, forgings, flash welded rings, and stock for forging or flash welded rings. These products have been used typically for parts, such as turbine air-sealing components, requiring moderate strength up to 1400 °F (760 °C) and oxidation resistance up to 1600 °F (871 °C), particularly where a low coefficient of expansion is desirable, but usage is not limited to such applications.
