- This standard specifies the classification, style, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of electrical insulating shoes. This standard applies to electrically insulating shoes used as auxiliary safety appliances when working on electrical equipment. This standard does not apply to insulating shoes made by single seam technology.
