This standard specifies the water activity in foodstuffs measured by the Kangwei dish diffusion method and the water activity meter diffusion method. This standard is applicable to the determination of water activity of prepackaged cereal products, meat products, aquatic products, bee products, potato products, fruit products, vegetable products, milk powder and solid beverages. This standard does not apply to foods with frozen and volatile ingredients. The range of the water activity of the food in this standard is 0.00-0.98 for the Conveyer dish diffusion method; 0.60-0.90 for the water activity meter diffusion method.
