This standard specifies the method for the determination of 6-benzyladenine (6-BA) in food by high performance liquid chromatography. This standard applies to the determination of 6-benzyl adenine in plant foods such as fruits and vegetables (bean sprouts, cucumbers, tomatoes, shiitake mushrooms, strawberries, oranges) and their products.
