- Scope
- This standard specifies dimensions and symbols for withdrawal sleeves with tapers 1:12 and 1:30. Withdrawal sleeves conforming to this standard are used for mounting rolling bearings with a tapered bore of 1:12 or 1:30 on cylindrical seats of stepped shafts. self-aligning ball bearings conforming to DIN 635-2 shall preferably be used.The bearing are dismounted using a withdrawal nut that is screwed onto the sleeve thread.
