Scope: This standard specifies the general requirements for cleaner production in cement industry enterprises. This standard divides the cleaner production indicators of the cement industry into six categories, namely production process and equipment requirements, resource and energy utilization indicators, product indicators, pollutant generation indicators (before terminal treatment), waste recycling indicators and environmental management requirements. This standard is applicable to the cleaner production audit, judgment of cleaner production potential and opportunities, cleaner production performance assessment and cleaner production performance announcement system of general portland cement, steel slag portland cement manufacturing and cement production supporting limestone mining enterprises in the cement industry. It also applies to environmental management systems such as environmental impact assessment and pollution discharge permits.
