Scope

Covers self-contained spas and equipment assemblies for use with hot tubs and non-self-contained spas rated 250 volts or less. This equipment is intended for installation and use in accordance with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, but it has not been investigated for below-grade (in-ground) installation.
