Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for testing underground ventilation systems during the safety assessment, design, construction and mining processes of metallic and non-metal underground mines (including associated radon and its progeny mines). This standard applies to the safety assessment, design, construction and mining of metal and non-metal underground mines (mines containing associated radon and its progeny). It is also suitable for deep concave open-pit mines that use underground tunnels to develop. This standard does not apply to the mining of radioactive mines, coal mines, coal-bearing pyrite and other coal-symbiotic mineral deposits. This standard also does not apply to the mining of liquid or gaseous mineral deposits such as oil, natural gas, and mineral water.
