Scope
This part of GB/T 14728 specifies the requirements and test methods for static stability, braking performance, static load and fatigue of desktop walking aids (excluding accessory equipment unless otherwise specified in the specific test process). This section also gives requirements related to safety, ergonomic performance, marking, labeling and information provided by the manufacturer. This section applies to all three or more wheels, feet, and supported by a support platform or forearm support brackets table-top walkers. The requirements and testing methods in this part are based on the daily use of desk-top walkers, and the manufacturer has clearly specified the maximum mass for the users of desk-top walkers. This section applies to desktop walkers with a user's weight not less than 35 kg.
