- This standard specifies the quarantine-related terms, definitions and quarantine basis for three important species of the genus Sternochetus that damage mango fruits: Sternochetus mangiferae (Fabricius), Sternochetus frigidus (Fabricius) and Sternochetus olivieri (Faust), as well as on-site quarantine and laboratory quarantine , quarantine supervis on and quarantine processing and other technical specifications. This standard applies to the quarantine supervis on and quarantine treatment of three species of mango weevils when transporting mango plant seedlings, seeds and fresh mango fruits.
