Scope

This standard specifies the receiving and transmitting signal characteristics of Inmarsat B ship earth stations, technical requirements for antennas, receiving and transmitting systems, and connection control. This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and application for model approval and commissioning of Inmarsat B ship earth stations with G/T value equal to or greater than -4 dBK.
