This chapter of GB 13140.1-2008 applies after making the following changes. Addition: This part of GB 13140 is applicable to connecting devices with insulation-piercing clamps mainly used to connect conductors without special treatment. Insulation failure during wiring by perforating, perforating, cutting through, stripping, dislodging, or otherwise destroying the insulation of a wire at one or more points of connection.
