Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation and storage of tubular heaters for water heaters (hereinafter referred to as electric heating tubes). This standard applies to tubular heaters for domestic and similar water heaters. This standard does not apply to tubular heaters for air conditioners, washing machines, dishwashers, microwave ovens, ovens, etc.
