Scope: This standard specifies the performance requirements for low-pressure sodium lamps for general lighting. For the requirements given in this standard, refer to the "parameter table" of the relevant lamp. This standard includes parameters for these lamps. For other lamps falling within the scope of this standard, the relevant parameters are provided by the lamp manufacturer or distributor. The requirements of this standard only involve type testing.
