Scope: This standard specifies a method for accelerated aging of paper and paperboard by moist heat treatment at 80°C and 65% relative humidity. This standard applies to printing paper and writing paper, and other types of paper and paper can also be used as a reference. This standard does not apply to resin-impregnated paper, varnish and electrical insulating paper. This standard does not specify test methods for the properties of paper and board. In order to evaluate the properties of paper or paperboard, the corresponding national standards or other suitable measurement methods can be used.
