Scope

This Standard specifies insert bearing units 1) (hereafter referred to as "units"). Note 1) Means the combination of insert bearings specified in JIS B 1558 (here¬after referred to as "bearings") and cast housings and pressed housings for insert bearings specified in JIS B 1559 (hereafter referred to as "housings").
