Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection and judgment rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for hand-knotted Tibetan carpets. This standard applies to hand-knotted Tibetan carpets made of pure wool or blended yarns made of Xining wool (Tibetan sheep wool) as the main raw material. Hand-knotted carpet products made of other fiber materials as tufts and Tibetan carpet tufts can also be implemented by reference.
