Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structure type and size series, environment and climate, safety requirements, information provided by the manufacturer, general requirements, tests, inspection rules, packaging and storage of low-voltage cabinets. This part applies to low-voltage cabinet products (hereinafter referred to as products) that meet the following conditions: ——Indoor installation and use; ——Made of metal materials; ——Inside installation rated voltage is AC not exceeding 1000V, frequency not exceeding 1000Hz or DC Electrical equipment and components not exceeding 1500V. Mechanical structure products such as racks, cabinets and consoles used in low-voltage systems can be used as a reference.
