This standard applies to solid copper conductors (single or stranded) or soft copper conductors with threaded and non-threaded clamp fuse terminal block. The fuse terminal block carries or uses the tubular fuse described in GB 9364.2-1997. It is mainly used in industrial or similar circuits with AC not exceeding 1000 V, frequency up to 1000 Hz or DC not exceeding 1500 V, with a maximum short-circuit breaking capacity of 1500A. The fuse terminal block is installed in the electrical equipment with the enclosure. There should be a space around the terminal block and the housing where the terminal block can be accessed with the aid of tools. In some occasions, such as in control circuits, fuse terminal blocks can be designed specifically for short-circuit protection. The purpose of this section is to develop detailed safety requirements and test methods for mechanical, electrical and thermal performance for fuse terminal blocks to ensure consistency between terminal blocks and standardized fuses. The following products can use this standard as a guide: - fuse terminal blocks that require special devices on the wires, such as: quick-connect terminals or wrap-around connections, etc.; Terminal block for fuses in direct contact with conductors. For example: connection of insulation movement, etc. When referring to GB 14048.1, the term "clamping piece" in this section replaces "terminal".
