Scope

This standard specifies the structural form, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, signs, protection and storage of metal diaphragm valves for industrial use. This standard is applicable to: metal diaphragm valves with nominal pressure PN6～PN25 (made of gray cast iron not greater than PN16), nominal size DN10～DN400, and flanged end connections; nominal pressure PN6～PN16, nominal size DN8～DN80, end Metal diaphragm valve with threaded internal connection; nominal pressure PN6~PN20, nominal size DN8~DN300, and welded metal diaphragm valve for end connection.
