Scope

This standard specifies the terminology, type, classification, basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of oxygen filling pumps for use in mines. This standard applies to oxygen filling pumps (hereinafter referred to as filling pumps) for oxygen respirators worn by mine rescue personnel.
