- This service definition is compliant with the UPnP Device Architecture version 1.0. [Qos Architecture] This service-type enables modeling of ‘QoS Device’ function capabilities. QosDevice service is a function typically implemented in source, sink and intermediate network elements that are in the path of traffic. QosDevice Service is responsible for providing the appropriate network resources to traffic and state of the device as requested by QosManager Service. [QM] This document does not address the procedure for end to end set up a new traffic stream or revoke an existing traffic stream.
