Scope
This Recommendation describes an IPTV terminal device (IPTV TD) that enables a migration path for the support of basic IPTV services, for current terminal devices usedfor other TV delivery services. This Recommendation identifies architectures and functions needed for the IPTV TD to support basic IPTV services, and is intended to meet immediate demands of current TV delivery services to rapidly deploy basic IPTV services.
