- This part is the basic standard, applicable to electrical equipment containing an insulation system regardless of the voltage level, which equipment: is connected to the electronic drive power supply, and - the insulation aging must be assessed under the condition of repeated voltage pulses. This section presents a general test procedure for the screening of electrical insulation systems (EIS) and the related assessment of insulation aging under repetitive pulse conditions.
