Scope: This standard specifies the tools used for sampling coking oil products, the collection of samples, the treatment and storage of inspection samples, and the determination of the water layer height of tank cars and iron drums. Chapter 5 of this standard is applicable to crude benzene recovered from high-temperature coking and benzene products obtained through washing and fractionation; dilute ammonia water obtained from recovery and concentrated ammonia water obtained through processing; light crude pyridine obtained from recovery and pyridine products obtained by fractional distillation; samples of coking light oil products such as crude phenol obtained by high-temperature coal tar processing and phenolic products obtained by fractional distillation. Chapter 7 of this standard is applicable to the test of coking viscous oil products such as coal tar condensed from coal gas and fractionated coal tar obtained from coal tar during high-temperature coking, raw material oil for carbon black, wash oil, anthracene oil, and fuel oil.
