Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, principles, instruments and utensils, operating procedures, result presentation and test reports for the determination of grain and oilseed thousand-grain weight. This standard applies to the determination of the thousand-grain quality of commercial grain and oilseeds. This standard does not apply to seeds for sowing.
